The First and The Camden National Bank have each recently walked through our doors with a donation.

What a wonderful effort in teaching our young to give to others!

CACFP has also received a couple other donations since our last post that we would like to recognize.

This time of year reminds us of all that we need to be thankful for. We are taking this time to specifically recognize some of the local in-kind donations that happen during this season of giving and throughout the year.

Seaside Village Summer Camp arrived at our door on August 30 with a wagon load of food donations. It was part of their camp week theme, Super Heroes.

CACFP always appreciates the many hours volunteers devote to the operation of our food pantry. This year we especially want to honor them in the memory of a beloved volunteer, Pauline Johnstone, who passed away June 1st of last year.

Camden Area Christian Food Pantry has been fortunate to receive a couple of recent annual food drives.

We have just experienced the season of Thanksgiving and the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry is most thankful to have been the recipient of three recent food drives.

Maine Sport once again held their annual Turkey Ride to bring turkeys to the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry via bicycle riders. Riders of all ages left Maine Sport, rode to Camden Hannaford to pick up their turkeys and then arrived en masse at the pantry.

Erickson Field has been donating fresh produce to us each summer for several years. We are pleased to be able to help them in return..
