Spring Blessings
/Spring is trying to come and while we wait in hope for its coming, we have been blessed in other ways by our community's support. Each spring we have three annual contributions that come our way. The first, back in April, was the CRMS School Spirit Week food drive. We loaded the back of a truck with bags and boxes of donated nonperishable foods. The 8th grade took the prize for collecting the most items, but we think you all are winners!!!
The second food drive was the Camden Post Office Month of May Mother's Day collection. We thank the postal drivers who take the time to participate since this is a voluntary endeavor for them to add this to their regular delivery run. And we thank the community for donating items. It is a team effort that we really appreciate!
And last, but not least, is the annual monetary donation from The First Bank which includes both the Camden and Rockport branches. This allows us to purchase other items we cannot normally get from our government sources.
We appreciate your faithfully thinking of us each year.
Sincerely,
the CACFP Board
